NUPEA was created in 1991. Nowadays, due to the increase in the critical mass and the activities developed, it has become a Research Center. It works in ambience areas for animal and vegetal production, use of agroindustrial residues, water quality and environmental legislation. It consists of teachers, researchers, postdoctoral students, doctoral students, masters, students of scientific initiation and trainees from different areas.
